Choreographic Lineage
www.choreographiclineage.com (the site is not yet active)
Dancer to Dancer/Choreographic Lineage is a web-based choreographic family tree presenting the lineage of choreographers and dance artists in American Modern Dance. Through this website we are able to visually trace a choreographer back through their path of training and choreographic influence. It is an intricate web of who has worked with and studied with whom.

This site is intended as a global resource for investigating artistic influences, career paths, and choreographic connections. It is a visual network that allows you to navigate through dance history in the most direct way by isolating a choreographer’s historical path. The information contained in this site is based on the choreographer’s personal assessment of their artistic influences. Sources are cited for the histories of artists who are no longer living.
